John Hodges, Dentist (DDS PS)Dr. John Hodges was born in New Jersey, and after living in several East Coast states, he settled in a suburb of Los Angeles at the age of 10. He attended the University of Southern California for both undergraduate and dental school.
After receiving his doctorate in 1993, John joined the U.S. Navy Dental Corps, where he served as a lieutenant at the Naval Dental Center, Pearl Harbor. He primarily worked as a general dentist, although he served a seven-month rotation in the prosthodontics department, where he focused on reconstructive cases. While at USC Dental School, John studied forensic dentistry as an elective. This training helped him acquire a part-time position at CILHI (Central Identification Lab, Hawaii) during his first two years in the Navy. Here he was honored to assist in the identification of MIA's from World War II, Korea and Vietnam.
 During his three years in Hawaii, John traveled throughout much of the United States and Canada searching for a place to settle. He fell in love with the Pacific Northwest, and moved to Washington in 1996. John loves technology and this passion drives him to continually train to find ways to incorporate it into his patient's healthcare. He co-founded the Pacific Northwest Dental Implant Center in 2007 with Dr. Jeff Rogers, where CAT scans and CAD design software are used to virtually perform surgeries and design implant supported restorations. This allows the doctors to accurately place implants and restorations with less invasive surgery and in a minimum of visits. He belongs to several study groups and professional organizations including the AGD, WAGD, and ICOI.
In 1999 he married his wife, Kelli. They have three children, Connor, Jack, and Greta. John enjoys hunting and the outdoors, collecting wine and model trains, and socializing with friends and family. He is a die-hard New York Giants and USC Trojan fan (and he's a Mariners fan too). John loves the tropics. His love of the tropics and time in Hawaii are what inspired the relaxed atmosphere that we enjoy at his office.
